This year's AGM will take place on SATURDAY 3rd March, at Bolton Steam Museum.
There will be a private steaming of the museum, followed by the AGM meeting, pie and peas and the annual quiz and photoraphic competition.
All members have been sent all details and can book through the online system or by calling the Membership Secretary, Hazel. Non-members are also welcome as guests of members.

Due to the expense and poor attendance of the monthly meeting, it has been decided that these will now be on a more casual basis. All members who use our on-line service will be informed about meetings and events by email and will be able to book spaces using the on-line booking system; click on "Events" in the blue bar towards the top of the page.

The AGM took place on Sunday 1st March and was well attended by 8 committee members and 14 other members.

The main news to report were a few alterations to the committee members. Richard Fairhust has resigned after 20 years good service to the club. I would like to offer our thanks for his hard work over the years. This left a number of vacancies on the committee but two members present were willing to stand so we would like to welcome Hughie Winterbottom and Chris Adamson to the committee.

Accounts were looking healthy, though membership numbers are down. Any suggestions about how to improve membership would be welcome. Ideas on the night included improved high-profile speakers for the meetings, occasional changes to meeting time and/or venue plus more club related steam activity throughout the summer.
